New Enhancements in Branch Steps

With the new release, MyGuide has come up with the following new feature additions to Branch Steps:

MyShow for Branch Steps –

Users can select a branch and then slideshow will continue into that branch, they can play select element guides and URL based branch guides in MyShow.

Dropdown and Tree View –

Users can play branch guides in MyShow, as branch steps are now shown as radio options and by clicking on the buttons, MyShow will move to that branch.
Tree View is available on Enterprise Creator and Dropdown is available on MyGuide Player.

Branch Decision

Branch decision popup appears when the user doesn’t follow any branch step or performs the wrong operation. In case the default branch doesn’t play, it will give options to select which branch you want to play

MyGuide Footer Player

This feature is developed because sometimes when we play a guide in MyGuide mode and a step element is not found or in case a particular step is not followed other then the footer player appears with three thumbnails accordingly – “Previous Step”, “Current Step” and “Next Step”. We can select anyone to play and continue the guide.

MyGuide Footer Player is draggable, and the thumbnails can be enlarged.

Improved Message Step

“On click of the tooltip” is the new option added to the “When will this step complete” section of the Message step pane. When this is enabled, and a tooltip is selected, we are able to click on the tooltip, which will then navigate to the next step.
This is going to be very helpful for checkboxes and text boxes. Here, until you enter/select and get tabbed out, you won’t be redirected to the next step.

New Header of Step Panel

In the latest release, MyGuide Step Panel has become more attractive because of its new header which is highlighting the header options like the back button, edit button, and download button

New Features in Guide Settings

In guide level settings, this new option is added to the “Advanced Settings” where you can enable the “Hide previous step” button

Sometimes, a step with both “Previous” and “Next” buttons plays and the user clicks the former, but there is a chance that the element related to the earlier step is unavailable and guide stops, for such times “Hide previous step” button is required.

Now, we can preview the Beacon before it is enabled to a guide

Similarly, we can preview a Tooltip before it is published
